Our Recycling Plan

Phase 7: The Recycling Center

Once the track is fully open and generating revenue, Olympic International Motorsports Park plans to launch an eco-friendly tire and glass recycling center right on the property. This facility brings in steady income year-round and is a major selling point for county planners during our permit process — showing that our operation is a long-term community asset, not just a racetrack.

The Glass & Concrete Partnership

We plan to crush community glass bottles into clean, safe construction sand. By processing glass on-site, we can sell or trade our sand directly to local concrete plants — creating a clean, local supply chain that keeps materials and dollars in the community. This positions OIMP as not just a motorsports destination, but a genuine contributor to the regional economy and environment.

The Tire Disposal Loop

Blown tires are a real problem at any motorsports facility — and in our local woods. Our solution is a closed-loop tire disposal program. Drivers will pay a mandatory $5 eco-fee per blown tire, keeping tires out of the environment and funding the operation. Those tires then go through an industrial shredder to produce premium rubber mulch, which we sell in bulk to local landscaping companies, playgrounds, and farms.

Why This Matters for the County

The recycling center isn't just a revenue stream — it's a direct response to common permit objections. Our plan eliminates highway truck traffic, tire dumping, and glass waste by turning these potential liabilities into community assets. We are committed to showing county planners that Olympic International Motorsports Park is designed to operate responsibly and sustainably for the long haul.

When Does This Launch?

The recycling facility is Phase 7, launching after the track is open and operational. We're laying the groundwork now so we can move quickly once we're up and running.
